Trailhead Technology (originally named Boing Software) was built on the very important core values of working ethically, serving with integrity, providing value, and fostering respect. The company was founded on an idea that took nearly five years to grow and expand. In 2002, a group of talented individuals came together to form Boing Software, a company originally dedicated to providing content management systems to school districts.

Over the years, many of the founders have moved on as the demands of family and new adventures have called. At the same time, our service offering expanded to include consulting services and our list of clients expanded well beyond the handful of schools we first served.

In 2006, just one original member of the five founders remained with the company. At that time, the lone founder took the opportunity to change the name to one that sounded less like the airline industry and more like the core values of the company.

Trailhead Technology today continues to operate under its original core values and offers content management systems. In addition, the company offers consulting services and custom Web development, as well as database development and interactive busines analysis and project management.  It remains a small company with an arsenal of contractors who provide value-added services such as e-commerce, copywriting, proofreading and art direction.
